This is another rare opportunity to stay in a charming detached stone cottage in secluded woodland surrounded by 160 hectares of its own land. Situated in an elevated position 5.5 miles by road from Maentwrog village, it enjoys magnificent mountain and valley views of Snowdonia from its picture windows. It is very comfortably furnished and a log fire gives it a warm and cosy atmosphere. Ample walks from the doorstep - this is a naturalist or artists' dream location. 40 min walk to Maentwrog and 'The Grapes' , 12miles to Porthmadog and Harlech to lovely sandy beaches, golf courses, steam train rides, shops and Leisure Centre. Trawsfynydd (10ml) is a mountain village near a lake with excellent mountain bike trails through the forest at Coed y Brenin. Situated separately in its own grounds and own drive is this 'The Woodland Barn ' which is 40 m away from the Woodland Cottage (our ref 5003) and set lower down the hill. Both properties are private from one another.and set in its own private area. It is secluded by trees from the main house and has its own private drive. There are countryside and mountain views from most rooms amd it is surrounded by 1/4 of an acre of natural grounds extending to the woodland. There are two unfenced ponds a 100m from the barn in the grounds, making it unsuitable for an unsupervised young child. The barn was recently refurbished to a high standard. A lovely retreat for two after a good day walking in Snowdonia

1 BEDROOM: 1 double bedroom with 5' bed. Bed linen provided, but please bring your own towels.
SHOWER ROOM: Shower room with WC and automatic washer.
KITCHEN AREA: Lovely room including electric oven and gas hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher.
LOUNGE AREA: Open log fire and TV with freeview and DVD.
PARKING: Natural grounds with parking.
HEATING: Full gas central heating with under floor heating.
ELECTRICITY & GAS: Electricity, central heating  and gas included. Logs £15 per week is required, £20 for central heating.
EXTRA: Spring water supply to the cottage is filtered and UV treated Access is along a 2.5 ml trackway with a few potholes which can be driven in ordinary cars if taken with a little care. This is a managed woodland and occasionally there will be some clearing of trees somewhere on the 150 hectares of the woods.
