An invitation is extended to caring guests to enjoy staying at this lovely country house situated in a peaceful location opposite the Portmeirion village on the Dwyryd estuary foreshore. Built at the turn of the century, this country retreat is surrounded by its large garden and farmland and is now two independent homes. On offer is the whole of the first floor of this grand house with magnificent views across the estuary to Portmeirion, Porthmadog and Snowdon. It is comfortably furnished contemporary with its age. It is a haven for bird watchers with 40 different species spotted by one observer. A mile down the lane is the small hamlet of Ynys, with Harlech village 3mls for visiting the beautiful sandy beach, castle, antique shops, theatre, leisure centre and golf course. Porthmadog town is just 7mls for shops, steam train rides, maritime and motor museums.

3 BEDROOMS: 1 double bedroom and 2 bedrooms both with 2 single beds. Only Bed linen provided. please bring your own towels & tea towels.

KITCHEN: Modern fitted units with electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

EXTRA: Access is directly from the elevated drive at the rear of the house and all rooms are on the same level.

 NO SMOKING: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A NO SMOKING Policy may form part of a Property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.

Access to the gardens is via steps which are quite steep from both the back door and the side garden. Parking is on the level with the front door, but there is the gate to open on the drive by the farm. In order to get the keys it is necessary to go down the steps to the garden but these keys open the door that is on the level with the car parking area. There may be problems with access to the flat for wheelchair users as there are several large, heavy plant pots along the access path which makes it too narrow.
