The quaintest of cottages prepared in a very comfortable and homely manner with far reaching seaviews from the doorstep. It is located on the edge of one of the most historic villages in North Wales, Aberdaron . Apart from the 2 steps up into the cottage most of this detached property is on ground floor with only the additional sleeping rooms in an enclosed crog loft up a ships style staircase (steep). Recently refurbished and extended this is the original 'Fishermans Cottage, ref 3098' which we were proud to advertise a few years ago - but now it is much better. It has two bedrooms and a wet room as well as the cosy lounge and kitchen on the ground floor making it an excellent location for young families or those who don't want to climb stairs. The cottage shares the drive with the local owners who are happy to help in any way or to respect your privacy. There is a totaly private patio to the rear of the cottage with views of the countryside. Less than a mile away is the beach and Aberdaron village which was the stepping stone of Pilgrims on their way to Bardsey island - the island of a 1000 Saints. Bardsey is now a conservation island with bookable boat trips possible on fine days to enjoy this peacfull place. The effect of the gulf stream on the coastline promises warmer seas. Excellent area for relaxing, exporing the craggy coves, surfing in Hell's Mouth (!), Bird watching (eg. Coughs are common), cycling the myriad of country lanes and pony trekking on the beach (Abersoch 6mls). Snowdonia is a scenic 45 minute drive to experience a different world of towering mountians, deep river gorges and peacful lakes. Ideally the cottage is big enough for 4 persons , but can take 6 at an additional charge if they are children. 

3/4 BEDROOMS: 1Kingsize with tv, 1Twin (both on the ground floor), 1Single through to 1Double in the eaves which is up a steep ships style ladder. Bed linen and towels included.
WETROOM with electric shower, slipper bath, wc and hwb.
LOUNGE/DINER:  with 38" flatscreen TV & DVD, comfy for 4. Above the living room is a Crog Loft with additional seating area. A great place to see the fantastic views of the village of Aberdaron and the see beyond.
KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM: Modern fitted kitchen/breakfast room with el cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave dishwasher and washing machine.
HEATING: Under floor heating in bathroom and kitchen, radiators throughout rest of house
ELECTRICITY: Included upto £20/week. Hotwater inclusive. Gas central heating £25/week  October - April inc., £15/week May - Sept.
GROUNDS: Private patio with furniture to rear, shared drive and patio with furniture to front. Storage for bikes.

THIS COTTAGE IS MORE COMFORTABLE FOR 5 PERSONS THAN 6 BECAUSE OF THE COMPACT LOUNGE. THERE IS ADDITIONAL SPACE ABOVE THE LOUNGE IN AN OPEN PLAN CROG LOFT ACCESSED VIA A SHIPS LADDER, WHICH WOULD SUIT TEENAGERS.

Very comfortably furnished and presented to very nice standards. shared drive and parking to front with patio areas to front and back. Lovely views from front and rearaspects. MINIBREAKS & WEEKENDS: Bookings that are for less than a week are only bookable within 28 days of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a properties usual change over day are at the discretion of the property owner.
