Nestling in the peace and quiet of the countryside is this excellent family accommodation in a convenient, central location near the small city of Bangor (3ml). Carefully prepared for its guests with a welcome tea tray on arrival. This detached cottage was a former blacksmiths workshop, in a sheltered rural location near the hamlet of Caerhun, surrounded by green countryside. From the patio there are glimpses through the mature trees of the Snowdonia mountains. When you emerge from the long drive and country lanes you can very easily visit local attractions like the Greenwood Centre for children of all ages, Caernarfon & Welsh Highland steam railway (9mls), Penrhyn Castle and gardens (3mls) , Plas Newydd country house and the Sea Zoo (7mls). Easy access to Snowdon (7 mls), Anglesey beaches (7mls), Llandudno town (20mins) and even Chester via the North Wales expressway is only a 90 minute drive away. This is a very central location for anywhere in North Wales. Highly recommended.

F.A.Q. The A55 looks very close on the map. However it is in a cutting and there are trees between it and the cottage location and the traffic noise if bearly discernable above the rustling of the leaves in the wind. We have taken a video for you to see and hear for yourself.

MINIBREAKS & WEEKENDS: Bookings that are for less than a week are only bookable within 28 days of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a properties usual change over day are at the discretion of the property owner.
