For complete seclusion and freedom in a superb mountainside setting with breathtaking views across the Nantlle valley and lake, choose this very desirable detached 17th Century, stone cottage, comfortably modernised, but retaining much of the character of its past. Original oak and pine beams, a crogloft (ie. a traditional bedroom above part of the living quarters with steep stair), stone walling and large inglenook fireplace have all been carefully restored. Situated only 6ml from the harbour town of Caernarfon and 1/2ml from the rural hamlet of Y Fron . Outstanding lake and mountain views from most of the windows and the garden. Mountain moorland walks from the doorstep. Evidence of past quarrying is prevalent in this beautiful valley and now add to its dramatic landscape. 10 min. by car to the golden sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle, 20 mins to Snowdon. Pony trekking, climbing, steam trains, boat trips and even flying lessons are available locally.

3 BEDROOMS: 1 kingsize bedroom, 1 double bedroom (downstairs) and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds both 2'6" in the loft with low headroom and access via steep narrow stairs. Only Bed linen provided. Please bring your own towels & tea towels.
BATHROOM: Attractive and spacious with a bath, electric shower in a cubicle and WC, downstairs.
KITCHEN/BREAKFAST: Fitted units, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and pew seating.
UTILITY ROOM: washing machine and tumble dryer.
LOUNGE: Vaulted ceiling, Victorian style log burning stove, beams, slate floor, TV and
VCR/DVD .
GARDEN: Large enclosed sunny grounds with a patio area with furniture and a gate to a wild meadow with a small brook. "Excellent for letting the dogs have a good runaround"- so say many guests.
PARKING: 3 cars.
HEATING: Night storage heaters.

EXTRA: Access is by a mountain track for about 1/2 mile.

MINIBREAKS & WEEKENDS: Bookings that are for less than a week are only bookable within 28 days of the start date of the holiday.
