This is a lovely shepherds cottage with wide ranging countryside and seaviews in a quiet position just outside the village of Waunfawr, 5ml from the historic town of Caernarfon and 9 ml from Beddgelert in the heart of Snowdonia . Furnished to a very high standard with attention to detail it is surrounded by 200 acres of pasture, mainly with sheep and lambs in the spring. You will have a warm welcome from the 'chicks' that freely roam the yard and enjoy their free range eggs which make Mrs Jones' family recipie cake. This is a peaceful location with guests enjoying relaxing at the windows soaking up the views and the sun sets or there is a lovely enclosed sun deck in the field to the front of the cottage with magnificent views across fields where there is stylish furniture and purpose built BBQ. This cottage is ideally situated for exploring and enjoying Snowdonia and North Wales. There is walking & cycling from the door step to a local inn (2ml), a climbing centre ideal for kids (5ml), steam train rides from Caernarfon (5ml) along the foot of Snowdon, pony trekking in the hills, fishing in nearby lakes and rivers, sandy beaches (12ml) and climbing mighty Snowdon will make a holiday here a memorable one.
