Meticulously prepared acommodation has been designed for the more discerning guest, and provides a cosy holiday retreat for couples who want home from home comfort and convenience in a cottage attached to a grand house. Built in an elevated position overlooking wild, National Trust countryside every window, especially the large picture window in the lounge, is full of unspoilt Snowdonia scenery with views towards the Harlech hills and the Moelwyn mountains. Ramp access and deluxe walk-in shower room (wet room) make this an ideal place to stay for the less able. Its central location on the edge of the small hamlet of Rhyd , 6ml from the harbour town of Porthmadog and 7mls from the mountain resort of Beddgelert make it ideally placed for touring and exploring the glorious scenery, whatever the season.. Footpaths meander from the doorstep to hidden lakes, Ffestiniog Railway narrow gauge station at Tan y Bwlch 1 mile and roman road with views down across the glaslyn estuary. Indeed walkers could spend a week here without needing to use their car. Choice of country pubs within 2 miles. There is also a small shop and restaurant in Llanfrothen (1.5ml). Attractions in the area include Brondanw Gardens, home of Sir Clough Williams-Ellis (2.5ml), Plas Tan y Bwlch Gardens, National Park Study Centre (2ml), Portmeirion village and gardens (4ml), Harlech castle and sandy beach (7ml), Snowdon (7ml), Ffestiniog Railways steam trains, Porthmadog harbour and Black Rock Sands beach (6ml).

1 BEDROOM: 1 bedroom with a King size zip and link bed that can be a twin (2'6") on request . Bed linen and towels included and bed prepared.
SHOWER ROOM: Ensuite shower room with toilet, underfloor heating and large walk in shower suitable for the less abled.
KITCHEN: Modern fitted galley kitchen with electric ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher.

"2065 is an annexe cottage to a most attractive stone house set in an elevated position at the northern end of the village of Rhyd.  It overlooks rugged National Trust countryside.  There is plenty of parking space and grounds to use and enjoy the glorious views.  The cottage is spotlessly clean and offers very spacious and comfortable accommodation for 2 persons and is maintained to excellent standards.  The overall quality percentage at 92% which meets the expectation of a 5 star quality product"
