STS Grade 4+ This is a very attractive semi detached stone cottage in the village of Tremadog, 1ml from the harbour town of Porthmadog. Extremely comfortably prepared with modern conveniences and contemporary decor. It offers excellent accommodation in a good central location in North Wales. The village has its own shop and a family pub and restaurants within a short walk . Porthmadog (1ml) caters well for the tourist with steam train rides, boat trips, museums and leisure centre. The beach at Black Rock Sands is great (big) and great (fun). The 3 mile stretch of golden sand has sand dunes and it is possible to drive onto the beach and park where you like. Portmeirion village is just across the estuary (3ml) for a lovely relaxing day. Cricieth is just 5mls down the coast if you wish to vist the castle and discover Cadwaladr's icecream!.Beddgelert (7ml) is at the foot of Snowdon, a pretty village where two majestic rivers meet and there are plenty of walks to be had either on the flat along the river or up high onto the mountains. This is a fine location for enjoying both the coast and the Mountains of Snowdonia.
