The orchard cottage is a private little gem, situated in an elevated location in a select woodland location with lovely views of Snowdonia from the gardens just a few minutes walk down hill from the High Street in Porthmadog. It offers very comfortable and quiet accommodation in a select part just on the edge of the town. The owners have recently completely refurbished this 100yr old stone cottage and have installed all modern conveniences and contemporary furniture. The sun dappled patio to the front of the cottage is available and private and has tables and chairs for relaxing after a day exploring Snowdonia. Porthmadog is a popular location for enjoying Snowdonia and North Wales being quite central, close to magnificent sandy beaches and the Snowdonia Mountains. Famous local attractions are the Ffestiniog Steam Railway and harbour, the salt marshes for bird watching, Portmeirion village and gardens, Harlech castle and the Snowdonia mountain resort of Beddgelert . Drive to the heart of snowdonia within 30 minutes through unrivalled scenery. Sandy beaches at Black Rock Sands (2ml), and Cricieth (5ml)
