This excellent family accommodation is located on Garth Road, a quiet no-through residential road above Porthmadog marina with a roadway/ footpath to the village of Borth y Gest and the beach. All front rooms of this 3 storey house have uninterrupted views across the Glaslyn estuary to a panorama of sea and mountain scenery. It is a 10 min. walk from the house to the historic quayside at Porthmadog, a little further on to the shops, cafes, restaurants, Ffestiniog Railway steam train station, museums and cinema. The bay and coves at Borth y Gest are 15 mins walk from the house, Black Rock Sands and Portmeirion village and gardens are just 2ml, and majestic Snowdon mountain and Beddgelert (7ml). Short walk to the shops and restaurants, cinema and leisure centre. Just around the corner is the little Ffestiniog Steam train station when you can enjoy a slow sedate train ride up the Snowdonia Valley. This is a good central location for a large holiday property in North Wales .

5 BEDROOMS: 1st floor, 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom. 2nd floor, 1 kingsize bedroom and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each. Only Bed linen provided, please bring your own towels & tea towels.
BATHROOM: 1st floor, bath and WC with shower over the bath plus additional WC. 2nd floor, shower room and WC.
DRAWING ROOM: Views of the estuary and mountains, TV, and DVD .
DINING ROOM: On the ground floor.
LOUNGE: Comfortable with views and TV and DVD.
KITCHEN: Modern fitted kitchen with original slate floor and gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and automatic washer.
GARDEN: Enclosed slate patio to the rear and tiny garden to the front with seating and panoramic views.
PARKING: Street parking.
HEATING: Gas central heating.
ELECTRICITY & GAS: Paid by meter reading.

 The house is situated on a hill accessible by foot either up a slope or by way of 83 steps from the harbour. There is usually on street parking outside the house for one car. The house is 9 steps up from the road and there are no handrails adjacent to the steps. The house is on three stories with no lavatories on the ground floor, two on the first floor and one on the second floor. All electrical sockets are ten inches above floor level. Both lounges (on the ground and first floor) have a good reading light. The oven is on an upright unit. First floor bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and there are no handrails on the bath. The walk in shower cubicle is on the second floor. Access to bins is by way of six steps down and four up in the back yard. All interior doors have original period doorknobs.
