A recently renovated stone terraced cottage on the edge of the village of Penrhyndeudraeth near the manned railway level crossing for the Ffestiniog steam railway and a few hundred yards from the small station. Located 3mls from the harbour town of Porthmadog it is very comfortably furnished in a light and airy modern style with attractive paintings by local artists adorning the lounge wall. There is an excellent new kitchen with all conveniences too. Its location offers the best of both worlds - being on the edge of the village, it feels very rural, opposite a small wood and with walks from the doorstep, and yet it is within (healthy) walking distance to the shops and inns of this vibrant village centre. The cottage is one of 4 which stands on a no through service road. The splendour of Snowdonia lies at the bottom of the hill with the near distant peaks including Snowdon beckoning. Beddgelert and Snowdon (5 mls). Porthmadog (3 mls) has a good variety of shops and eating places and a beautiful stretch of sandy beach at Black Rock Sands (5 mls). Portmeirion village is just 2 mls, Cricieth town and castle just 5 mls.


BEDROOMS: 2 bedrooms, 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom.  Bed linen provided, please bring your own towels & tea towels.
BATHROOM: Bath, WC and shower over the bath.
KITCHEN: Modern fitted kitchen/breakfast room with gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer.
LOUNGE/DINER: Comfortable lounge with electric fire, TV with Sky Freeview, DVD

GAS CENTRAL HEATING. Gas: By meter reading. (Usually not more than £10/week)

NO SMOKING: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A NO SMOKING Policy may form part of a Property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.

MINIBREAKS & WEEKENDS: Bookings that are for less than a week are only bookable within 28 days of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a properties usual change over day are at the discretion of the property owner.
