A recently renovated stone terraced cottage on the edge of the village of Penrhyndeudraeth, 3mls from the harbour town of Porthmadog. Very comfortably furnished in a light and airy modern style with attractive paintings by local artists adorning the lounge wall. There is an excellent new kitchen with all conveniences too. Its location offers the best of both worlds - being on the edge of the village, it feels very rural, opposite a small wood and with walks from the doorstep, and yet it is within (healthy) walking distance to the shops and inns of this vibrant village centre. The splendour of Snowdonia lies at the bottom of the hill with the near distant peaks including Snowdon beckoning. Beddgelert and Snowdon (5 mls). Porthmadog (3 mls) has a good variety of shops and eating places and a beautiful stretch of sandy beach at Black Rock Sands (5 mls). Portmeirion village is just 2 mls, Cricieth town and castle just 5 mls.
BEDROOMS: 2 bedrooms, 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom. Only Bed linen provided, please bring your own towels & tea towels.
BATHROOM: Bath, WC and shower over the bath.
KITCHEN: Modern fitted kitchen/breakfast room with gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer.
LOUNGE/DINER: Comfortable lounge with electric fire, TV with Sky Freeview, DVD
GARDEN: Patio area with bench to front with countryside views.
PARKING: 1 car
GAS CENTRAL HEATING. Gas: By meter reading.
ELECTRICITY: By pre pay key meter. When you arrive there will be say £4 of credit on the key. When you leave at end of your holiday, you are expected to leave £4 of credit on the key for the next visitors. You can buy extra credit in multiples of £5 at the shop. Credits bought are non-reundable. The meter tells you how much credit is left. NO PETS
