This is a welcome return to one of the most popular cottages we have been renting out over the years. Guests regularly return to this prestigious family home located int he Snowdonia National Park because it is ideal for families seeking peace and quiet in comfortable surroundings. This 200 year old property is tucked away above the village of Penrhyndeudreath, 2ml from Porthmadog , with a narrowgauge steam train passing the drive gates a few times a day. There are grand panoramic views of the Dwyryd estuary and the Snowdonia mountains from all main rooms. A walk (or short drive) will take you through the village, passing shops and inns en-route to the interesting esturay foreshore where Portmeirion village (as seen on tv!) is situated. Black Rock Sands is a 3ml stretch of sandy beach and is only 4 mls away. Beddgelert is arguably Snowdonia's loveliest village, sitting at the foot of Snowdon mountain at the confluence of two rivers and to get there you will enjoy the most scenic 5ml drive.

Furniture is a mix of built in plus traditional and more modern, carpet, beds and bedding are to an overall excellent standard. Decor is plain emulsion with added wall prints etc."

ACCESS STATEMENT WERDDON, PENRHYNDEUDRAETH
The property has been renovated in recent years to provide a high standard of accommodation in pleasant surroundings, which should meet most needs.
The house is approached from a minor road via a railway crossing and along a private sloping tarmac drive. The entrance gate is secured in an open position for ease. The drive leads to a gravelled parking area sufficient for 2 - 3 cars.
The ground floor is all on one level accessed by either of 2 entrances, each of which has a slightly raised threshold. There is a separate downstairs toilet with wash basin and bidet.
Walls are painted in pale, plain colours with internal doors and other timber either natural or painted white.
There is a hand rail along one side of the staircase which has a 90° turn.
The single/twin and double bedrooms and shower room are on one level but the king-size room and bathroom is accessed via 2 steps down to a lower level. The main bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath, wash basin, toilet and bidet.
Most power points in the kitchen are mainly at worktop level and are 350mm above the floor elsewhere. Bedside lights are provided in all bedrooms. The lounge has a central light, wall lights and standard lamps.
Remote controls are available for colour TV, video, DVD, Sky, radio and CD player. There is no phone.
Access to the level and sloping lawned areas is beyond the parking area. Garden furniture (chairs) is stored in a small padlocked shed a short distance from the main house with access up 2 steps.
