This is a rather special villa on South Snowdon Wharf waterside. It has a separate kitchen and consequently a larger living area which has full length patio doors and a balcony enjoying the southerly views across the estuary, sea and mountains above Harlech. The living area, which is beautifully decorated with neutral colours and very comfortably furnished, and the fitted kitchen, occupy the whole of the 1st floor; the bedrooms and new shower room are on the ground floor. It felt very relaxing sitting on the balcony looking across the estuary waiting for the local seal to make an appearance and start sunbathing on the yachting pontoons. The many wading birds and occassional appearence of the seal make this a good place to bring a pair of binocs. Porthmadog High Street, the Ffestiniog Railway Steam Train station and the wonderful wetlands walk are just a few minutes away. Portmeirion village, Harlech castle and the mountain resort of Beddgelert are within a 10 - 30 minute drive through unrivalled scenery. Good central location.
BEDROOMS: 1 Double and 1 Twin room. Only Bed linen provided, please bring your own towels & tea towels.
LIVING ROOM: Lounge/diner with tv & electric fire. Seaviews and patio doors to a balcony with seating.
SHOWER ROOM: shower cubicle and WC on ground floor.
KITCHEN: Modern fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge and microwave.
Electricity included May to Sept. By meter reading at others times.
Night storage heaters throughout.
PARKING: Allocated parking for 1/2 cars.Not suitable for children under 10 years of age as balcony railing does not have an infill.
NO SMOKING PLEASE F.A.Q - Access is via a proper front door on the ground floor. The ships ladders that you can see in some pictures are for decorative purposes only.
